This is a well written book and one that i very much enjoyed reading.  I have read one other book in the Cavensham Heiresses series (The Luck of the Bride) and as much as i enjoyed that book, I enjoyed this one even more so.  I am not going to write what the story is about as i prefer one to read the book for themselves, but i do recommend.  I really must get around to reading the previous books in this series.

I myself have never heard of this plant, so it taught me something.  A wonderful book with beautiful illustrations.  I know my grandson (4 yrs) will enjoy looking at this book with me, as he loves to help in my garden.  I can highly recommend.

I love to cook and try out new recipes and couldn't have been more delighted when I had won 'Wholefood Heaven in a Bowl:...' in a giveaway.

The first thing I noticed before opening the book was the lovely texture. Secondly was the size, which was just right for me. I don't really like books that can be large and cumbersome for my bookcase! As for recipes, they certainly made my mouth water. Each recipe has a few lines about where it originated from, what goes best etc. Even down to suggesting not to use if about to go on a date, which made me smile. The recipes seem to be easy to follow, with plenty of illustrations.

As it is summer, I shall be wanting to try some of the salad recipes. I love beetroot, so the first recipe that I will make is the Brazilian Biribando Salad. It isn't often that I will eat dessert, but on a hot summer's day, the thought of 'Brown Sugar Meringues with Orange Blossom and Saffron Cream and fresh raspberries' would go down a treat.

I do highly recommend this book.

'The Futures' reminds me of my 17 yr old granddaughter who happens to be in love and coming towards the end of her Course at College. Decisions, decisions!

I enjoyed this novel much more than I thought I would. I am not usually keen on novels that has alternating viewpoints, but must say on this occasion, it was very well done. I am not going to write what the story is about for fear of spoiling for others, but I do highly recommended.

I am not a great lover of stories with a double storyline, but it worked well in this book. I must admit that I did skip parts of Connie and her good friend Freddie, as I couldn't wait to see what happened next with Claudette. I rarely write what a story is about for fear of spoiling for others, but will say that it is based around Claudette who is a member of the Resistance in Paris, working undercover as a maid in a Nazi household. The ending took me by surprise!

It is the first time that I have read any books by Jan Harvey and hope to read more books by this author. I do highly recommend.

I am sure many will find this book useful if they have never been to some of the places mentioned in this book.  I have been to several of the European countries mentioned, as well as here in the UK.  Only a few months ago I was in Krakow (Poland) and do plan to visit again soon. I totally agree with the author that it is a dazzling place to visit and it was totally different to what I had expected.

I won this e-book a while ago on Booklikes and have just got around to reading it.  I wasn't keen on the cover and the old saying springs to mind about never judging a book by it's cover.  

I quite enjoyed this cosy mystery.  I very seldom write blurbs as to what a story is about for fear of spoiling for others. If you enjoy a mystery mixed with a touch of humour, then I would recommend to give this book a try.

On the whole I did enjoy reading Russian Wolves, even though at times, I did struggle in parts.  I recall reading about Andrei Chikatilo and the horrendous crimes when he was captured year's ago.  It made me go cold back then and once again, it made me go cold whilst reading parts of this book.  Recommended.

Wow, what a beautiful and magical short story! After finishing this book, I sat in my chair reflecting on this beautiful love story for a while. I have always loved anything to do with fairies.

Having just finished the first book in the trilogy, I immediately went on to read 'Plain Change'. All I can say is that I loved the book just as much as the first. It is not often that I can read books one after the other so soon when it's in a series, but on this occasion I couldn't wait. I was sad towards the end when Amanda decided to stay at the farm to help her family in time of need (I can understand her reasons), so I'm hoping that there is a happy ever after in the third book 'Plain Again' which I am going to start reading later today.

This is the second Amish novel that I have read by Sarah Price and I can see myself wanting to read many more of her Amish novels. So pleased to have received a copy via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

What a page turner! I rarely write what a story is about for fear of spoiling for others. I have read several Amish novels, but never a book based around a Celebrity who was one of the main characters. Loved the romance. I was sad over the parent's attitude towards Amanda towards the end, but it's not surprising knowing of religions that do shun their children. Recommended.

I often buy these type of books as I do find them quite relaxing, so was thrilled when I had won an electronic copy from a member Giveaway on Librarything. This is my honest review.

There are many wonderful designs and it is hard to say that I have a favourite. Most are designs within a circle, but towards the end of the book, there are several interesting sheets containing for example, a lady with headscarf, butterfly pattern, fish, leafs. I had no problem in downloading and printing off a couple of pages. Now looking forward to getting out my pencils!

I have read many books based on Auschwitz and it never fails to move me where children are involved. After a recent visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau, it gave me a much clearer insight in to the hell that not only children, but also what the adults had to endure. I didn't realise that the two camps were so close to one another.  This book had me turning the pages.  There are many reviews giving an outline of what this book is about, so don't feel that I can add much more.  I would recommend this book to all and not just the young adult.

This was a very short read. I remember. I was in my mid teens when Charles Manson made headline news.  I would say that this is an ok read and may help some students who are studying Charles Manson.
